Title: Dick Cheney is Sejanus
Dick Cheney is Sejanus
And now it’s time to say
“Mr Cheney I’ve had enough
Now I’ll blow you away”
Dick Cheney used the word Evil
As a means of attack
And now the meaning of the word
Is really coming back
Like the big stone in Raiders
Like the long neglected kid
Like the tear in your favourite shirt
It soon becomes a rip
All those Little People
That you crushed with your plans
Will come back to haunt you
And account you as Man
And your Accounts are looking tight
In fact you’ve got a debit
So you’re written out of History
You’re cut? No! Just an edit
Dick Cheney is my enemy
He’d cull me like a runt
Dick Cheney is unpleasant
You’re wearing is such a silly Bunt
Two wrongs don’t make a right
But I’ll sacrifice my right
To answer me right now right here
If you can take that fight
Man to Man, not PR
No free-range Agents here
I’ll chop you up in pieces
Illuminate whole town’s with your fear
Your greed is what’s undone you
Your silly blinkered vision
You thought that you had it all
Offered nothing but division
Dick Cheney wants to be Cassius
Dick Cheney is out luck
Dick Cheney may die real soon
And we couldn’t give a F…………..

Title: New rap work-in-progress
In my life I’ve been drunk once or twice
Was it every Friday and Saturday night?
Always messing bout having sex
Like I do with you and like I did with my ex
Suddenly in Vietnam, had too much to drink, excuse me
On our way to Afghanistan Next morning, it was
Tuesday
What was that you said. I heard it once before
You know I wasn’t listening and now I’m on the
floor
Daddy was a miner. That got me into China : Job
Phillipines working in a bar
Met a Yankee on the Yankze He tried to get me dealing
and sewing on his stars
Scared, weak and confined: everybody’s fears
Safe, strong and free, not to many beers
All those people far away know your hypocrisy
A drunk and stoned drug councilor: she’s the one for
me
World War One. World War Two. Rambo one to five
Dump me. Collect two hundred pounds: No-one here gets
out alive.
Let’s develop Africa. Develop not exploit
Or smash her brains out with a BRIC or Lammas or
Deloitte
All the flaming bosses. They always get the gelt
Dads make all the messes, when they only want the
girl
I’m sick and tired of giving. Aren’t you sick and
tired of taking?
Oh alright just one more time. They wont know your
faking
Gulf War One. Gulf War Two. Rocky One to Five
I enjoyed it up to yesterday. Now get out of my life
Immigrants they take out jobs. We just take their oil
Their diamonds and their women. Their blood sweat and
toil
They do it cheaper over there. And the beaches are not
bad
Your life could be much better with some help from the
Dads
Your life could be much better if you stop these
incantations
And drop some of those unrealistic expectations

Title: The Rock Lobster Show
eference: We are normal (Track One: Doughnut in
Grannies Greenhouse by The Bonzo Dog Do Dah Band)
I would argue that any regular creative activity is
good for anyone be it gardening, singing or doing a
radio show.
The opportunity of doing a show that I devised was
irresistible. I already had a subject: local music.
There is an entire music scene in Totnes & Dartington.
Everybody has a recording facility.
The next issue was getting hold of the music. I could
now do a month of shows and not play the same song
twice. In my view I have at least three hours of
greatest hits as good as any music anywhere. We have
hours of live performances. Over two years the message
has got out e. Now I hear from Conrad that two people
heard his tune on the radio and dug it, or from
Marissa who was at festival and they were all sitting
around listening to me play Tarma Lynn. NIki Baines
stopped me in the Barrel to ask was it me who played
his TERROR ERROR. Chris Howe has been congratulated on
his news songs (that I've played as they have been
recorded. How fab is that?0 The notion of the artists
locked away in the studio making a masterpiece that
gets released has been exposed as a marketing scam.
Demos, remixes, b-sides and unplugged has shown that
fans like what the artists do and fans don't need the
artist's approval to enjoy their work. I remember:
"Everyone has a book in them" I'm not sure about that.
But I know that every musician has at least three good
songs. I intend to collect all of them
Personally I have found the anchor of the regular
radio show very grounding.
